An American Western buddy film about the legendary adventures of two infamous outlaws, Butch Cassidy (Paul Newman), and his partner the "Sundance Kid" (Robert Redford), as they rob banks along the Mexican border and flee to South America while being pursued by a U.S. Marshal and his posse. (“Who are those guys?”) The Redford/Newman magnetism is enhanced with music by Burt Bacharach. Katharine Ross adds a love interest to the story complete with a classic bicycle scene that will make you smile. “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head” won an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Director George Roy Hill captured the Academy Award for Best Director.
