With vocals, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bass fiddle, and a wealth of historic American songs, Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band tell the story of the United States. This 90-minute multimedia show on Blake Library's John F. and Rita M. Armstrong Wing stage includes music and images from Colonial America, the Revolution, Westward Expansion, the Abolitionist Movement, the Civil War, the Industrial Revolution, the Women's Rights Movement, the World Wars, the Great Depression, the Civil Rights Movement, and more.
Free tickets are required and available for pickup at the Blake Library beginning 4pm Thursday, March 13 in the John F. and Rita M. Armstrong Wing. Limit of two tickets per person, please. Come early as tickets go fast. Doors to the room open at 3:30pm for 4pm distribution. Pick up placeholder number from staff in room on arrival. Leftover tickets will be available at the Blake Library Information Desk.
